Ugh, what a month. And by that I don't mean I smashed each and every one of the goals I set for myself last month. In fact, in a direct sense, I failed most of last months goals miserably.

For instance, here is my volume for the month:
Yep, just a touch over 25k hands! But, I think I had the best month in terms of game improvement that I have ever had. I spent a bunch of time working on a couple of HUD projects with some good friends and mid-high stakes grinders. I've found I'm learning tons just by understanding what the better players in the online poker landscape wish to know when looking at their HUD. And another guy I've been working with is unrivaled in his game format, so I feel very honored to be able to work with him and learn.
I can't say too much about the specific projects (as much as I'd love to) because of the arrangements made but I can tell you that I'm close to releasing my first commercial HUD solution developed with ShortStackHero. It is designed specifically with PokerStars 20bb CAP games in mind. I am super excited about it, so much work has gone into development and design of this system and I believe it will be a huge asset to anybody who gets their hands on it. Being the main game I play, I can't wait until we put the final touches on it and I can really put some hours in at the felt with it. I have had a great time working with ShortStackHero and have been lucky enough to have a really good tester, Chavarie, who is the terminator of spotting bugs. He's been awesome. I think each of us have a very sound work ethic and I'm sure when we release (very soon) it will show in the final product. We are releasing it through NoteCaddyAdvantage, a company owned by Nilay Chatterjee.
I'm proud to release it through him as he has been one of the guys that has opened my eyes to what is possible with HUD's and software ideas. He is a very good thinker and is great to bounce ideas off for different software and definition ideas, and his pack that he created with the Bluefire Poker coach and stat-wiz Alan Jackson is testament to that.
HoldemManager has been good fun, the other night our license server had some downtime during US night time on the weekend, so some of the HM support juggernauts (fozzy, udbrky and many others) were asleep. That left me and Denise to swallow the waves of emails and forum enquiries that came in! But I'm having fun working there, it is great group to be a part of.
This month is up in the air, I'm going to try and fit some poker in but between HM support, the release of the 20bb CAP NoteCaddy Advantage pack, and private HUD work, it looks like time to grind is going to be very little. I'm going to aim for 30k hands or so, and pick it up when I get some more time. As I said though, I'm really not worried about that. I'm learning heaps and able to put in a lot of hours analyzing in HM and developing definitions, and if that doesn't help my game, I don't know what could!
